General questions

We are also subject to current market price fluctuations and therefore regularly adjust our prices in both directions. In order to offer more stable prices, we work with mixed prices. In doing so, we strive to pass on falling market prices to our customers as quickly as possible.

Portfolio

Our roof hooks are only made of high-quality, stainless steel in the material grades 1.4016 and 1.4301. After welding, the roof hooks are pickled to restore the passive layer.
Stainless steel grade 1.4016 (corrosion resistance class I) is mainly used inland and outside industrial areas, with little to no salt or acid content in the air. The material made of 1.4016 is also slightly magnetic due to the alloy. Stainless steel grade A2 1.4301 (corrosion resistance class II) tends to be used where there is a higher salt or acid content in the air (e.g. distances to the sea <10 km, use in industrial areas). Stainless steel grade A2 1.4301 is more cost-intensive due to the more expensive alloy.
There is a high risk that galvanised materials will not last the lifetime of a PV system. Compared to the total system costs and the risk of failure of sub-elements over time, the use of galvanised materials should be avoided.
The rail types “Standard“ and “Duro” are fastened in the lower rail channel either with the help of a hammer-head bolt M10 or alternatively with a hexagon bolt M10 and a locking nut in each case. The hammerhead screw has the advantage that it can be screwed in at any point of the rail channel. The hexagon head screw must be “threaded in” in the correct number beforehand.
The simplest way of mounting is to use the pre-assembled clamps with click system, in combination with the stainless steel cylinder head screw. This can be used at any point on the top rail channel. Alternatively, the slot nut is used in combination with a stainless steel cylinder head screw. The slot nuts can be used at any point of the upper rail channel. To do this, the slot nut is inserted into the upper rail channel in a slightly tilted position.
The click system can be used for the mounting rail types “Standard”, “Duro” and “Cross rail”.
For the variant with click system, please use the respective end and centre clamps with 30mm frame height. For the variant with simple clamps, please use the end clamp RH 30mm and the centre clamps with a cylinder head screw 35mm each in combination with a lock washer. This way the cylinder head screw will not hit the lower channel.
For the variant with click system, lock washers must first be fitted. Please ask us in advance. For the variant with simple clamps, please use the end clamp RH 35mm and the centre clamps with a cylinder head screw 40mm each. This way the cylinder head screw will not hit the lower channel.

Order processing

We work with a variety of parcel service providers and freight forwarders, some of which offer different conditions or are specialised in certain transports. Rails with excess length are handled separately by our forwarding agents due to their classification as bulky goods. In this case, you will receive a separate delivery notification via our forwarding agents. Shorter rails are often shipped via our parcel service providers.
